Unfortunately, until renovations are complete, we cannot offer an ADA bathroom at our facilities. The main floor and event spaces are accessible via ramp, however, the bathrooms are located down a flight of stairs. We also cannot provide any assistive listening at this time. Please help us as we raise funds and work towards a more accessible venue for all our community members.

Jazz Jam with Ira Friedman Trio
Pianist/composer, Ira Friedman is known for his merging of jazz and rhythms from around the world. The Ira Friedman Trio will be hosting the jam session. Robinson Morse will be on bass and Keith Gibson on drums. Click here to read more about Ira.

The Pianist's Guide to the Universe: Concert and Presentation
Concert/Presentation w/ Martha Hill and Martin Duncan
In this whimsical marriage of astronomy and music, composer Martha Hill Duncan and astrophysicist Dr. Martin Duncan combine their talents to celebrate the beauty of the night sky and the magic of music. This presentation will feature awe-inspiring slides, cosmic commentary and several solo piano works from the Duncan’s astronomical piano series.

Jazz Piano Concert with Tom Cleary
Join Tom Clearly and friends for this special performance demonstrating the versatility of jazz piano. The performance will feature jazz trio, solo piano, piano/bass duo pieces, and jazz trio pieces with bass, voice, and piano. Tom will be joined by bassist Jeremy Hill and vocalist Amber deLaurentis. Pianist in Residence Concert: Daniel Inamorato
Brazilian-American professor Daniel Inamorato is a pioneer Queer artist and avant-garde researcher, working most often in the intersections of keyboard performance, Japanese Butoh Dance and political Art. As a Jacobs Fellow, he was awarded a full scholarship to study at the prestigious Jacobs School of Music, quickly becoming a sought-out accompanist and soloist. His creative, passionate and humane approach to performing and teaching, knowledge of neurodiversity and special needs education, coupled with impressive piano technique and sightreading skills, allows him to often work in Canada, Brazil and the US as a chamber musician, solo performer and professor. Loom Ensemble has been touring Dance, Music and Theater performances throughout Vermont since 2016. This year, Montpelier is thrilled to welcome LoomSong! Loom Ensemble’s newest project has been slow cooking for a decade – LoomSong is a fresh constellation of longtime collaborators, and a new approach to songs which have been in development for years.

Sugar in the Pan
Vermont Folklife's Sugar in the Pan Trad Band plays traditional music from New England, Québec, Maritime Canada and beyond, featuring lively tunes that will have folks of all ages up & dancing! These fantastic teenage musicians with the Young Tradition Vermont Touring Group offer creative and engaging arrangements for audiences. They have performed at the New World Festival in Randolph and the Young Tradition Festival in Burlington; toured Cape Breton in 2023 and Québec in 2024; and have entertained at various retirement communities and schools in Vermont.
