Kianna Bromley - Founder & President

  • Kianna (she/her) is an immensely energetic and passionate problem solver. She never does anything halfway. Ever since pursuing her Masters in Business in Entrepreneurship from the University of Vermont (UVM), she has been planning business models for a new performance and event spaces. When the Gary Library crossed her path she knew it was time to jump!

    Kianna most recently taught Theatre Arts and directed the Masque Theatre Program at Montpelier High School. In addition to teaching on and off since 2011, Kianna has worked as the Business Manager for Orchard Valley Waldorf School, the Student Matinee Series Manager at the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts, and the Finance Director for Small Dog Electronics.

    Kianna currently serves on the Board at Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier and previously served on the Sustainable Entrepreneurship Advisory Board. She lives in Montpelier with her husband and children. Most importantly, she experiences the need for this space and organization daily and cannot wait to share its important impacts with her neighbors and fellow Central Vermont Community.

Catherine Lange - Secretary

  • Catherine (she/her) is a licensed architect and currently finalizing an MBA in sustainable innovation at UVM.

    Catherine was most recently an Associate Principal and Architect at Freeman French Freeman in Burlington. Prior to that, she worked at Scott + Partners Architecture, gaining valuable experience on small-scale Vermont architectural projects. In addition, Catherine started a freelance design company in 2010, which she has run continuously since then, working with various clients in digital storytelling and graphic design.

    Catherine recently completed 7 years serving on the AIA Vermont board, and brings expertise in design, leadership, and sustainable business. In addition to nearing completion of her MBA, Catherine holds a M.Arch degree from RIT with a focus in sustainability, and a B.S. from Cornell University in Design & Environmental Analysis. Catherine lives in Burlington, Vermont with her husband and toddler, and is expecting a new baby in May 2024.

Conor Kennedy - Vice President

  • Conor (he/him) was born and raised on a small farm in the Upper Valley. It remains one of his favorite places, and with no cell service to this day, it remains his favorite place to get away. He has lived in Montpelier for over six years and loves our small community. He thinks it's wonderful that we have a community where kids can get out of school and run from store to store getting snacks before heading to the playground or hanging out on the State House lawn.

    Conor currently serves as the Chief of Staff to the Vermont Speaker of the House, Jill Krowinski. He loves the work and the people he gets to interact with each and every day. As Vermonters, we are so fortunate to have such an accessible and open legislative process and he considers it an honor to be a part of it. Prior to his current role he worked at the Agency of Human Services, the Green Mountain Care Board, and the Office of the Senate Pro Tem.

    He lives in Montpelier with his partner, Christina and their giant goof of a dog, Mia. You can usually find them walking the bike paths, skiing, or doing a crossword downtown.

Molly Desrochers

  • Molly (she/her) is the Vocal Music Teacher and Music Director at Harwood Union Middle/High School. She also music directs the Lost Nation Theater Show Choir alongside Kianna Bromley.

    Prior to working at Harwood, Molly was the choral teacher at Montpelier High School and Main Street Middle School. While at Montpelier, she music directed the MHS Masque and Main Street Middle School productions. She has also collaborated with Kianna on a handful of performing arts projects in Montpelier.

    Since returning to VT, Molly has been an active member of various arts organizations. She is currently the Chairperson of the Winooski Valley Music Association, is the Youth Rep for the VT American Choral Directors Association, is the Chorus Manager for the New England Music Festival, and is a Seaver Fund board member, an arts fund run through Northfield Savings Bank.

    Molly holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Gettysburg College. She recently purchased her first home with her fiancé in Waterbury and is thrilled to make central VT her permanent home!

Eliza Fitzhugh

  • Eliza (she/her) currently works as a Principal at the New York City-based strategy and transformation consulting firm SYPartners. She has a deep desire to drive authentic social impact, a strong belief in design’s ability to envision possibilities and solve problems, and an expansive systems-thinking approach. She has worked alongside many companies and their executive leadership teams—including The Obama Foundation, Starbucks, The Data & Trust Alliance, Ralph Lauren, and American Express—to set shared visions, articulate bold strategic paths forward, and define new cultures.

    She grew up in Montpelier, where her parents still live in her childhood home. Though she, her husband, and their two kids now live in South Burlington, Montpelier shaped her. She is a passionate believer in art and its ability to create joy, build worlds, expand minds, and foster dialogue. She holds a B.A. in Art History from Colorado College and an M.F.A.in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.

Rob Halpert

  • Rob has lived and worked in central Vermont for more than forty years, providing advice and training to nonprofit boards and staff as part of his Montpelier law practice.

    In addition to his legal consulting work, Rob has served as a director for several arts-related nonprofit organizations, including the Adamant Music School and the Highland Center for the Arts. At the Highland Center, Rob served as Chair and President of the Board for several years, including a stint as acting executive director.

    As both an advisor and director, Rob has a deep appreciation of the benefits and value that arts organizations contribute to the economy and well-being of the local and regional community, and he is proud to have a role in advancing MPAH’s growth and mission in service to the arts.

    Rob lives with his wife Anna in East Montpelier. When he isn’t working or attending to his board responsibilities, Rob can be found behind his piano, working with fellow music-makers in the elusive search for that perfect note.

Joe Sanguinetti

  • Joe Sanguinetti (he/him) is a lighting designer, technical director, and licensed electrician. He currently works as a controls installer with Control Technologies, Inc. Prior to that, he worked as a journeyman electrician and foreman with Benoit Electric for five years. He has extensive experience in lighting design and technical direction for companies such as: Essex Community Players, Lost Nation Theater, Chandler Music Hall, Highland Center for the Arts, Plainfield Opera House, Unadilla Theater, U-32 High School, Northfield High School, Green Room Productions, Open Door Theater, Dirt Road Theater, Montpelier High School, Barre Opera House and the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub. 

Peter Santos - Treasurer

  • Peter (he/him) is a business consultant and author with over two decades of experience in financial and data analysis, including roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the State of Vermont. His diverse background also includes product development, publishing, spiritual teaching, and nonprofit administration.

    Driven by a lifelong passion for studying spirituality, Peter has authored both fiction and non-fiction books with spiritual themes and recently published the second installment in his fiction series, The Light Beyond the Shadows. He has also dabbled in playwriting, with one of his short plays being performed by the Valley Players in 2024.

    Through his creative endeavors, he strives to bring deeper meaning and a broader perspective to our lives, and he is excited to join the board of MPAH to help foster similar creative expressions through the performing arts in Central Vermont.

    A graduate of St. Lawrence University with a degree in Economics and Mathematics, Peter resides in Berlin with his cat, Moby. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities and is an active participant in Vermont’s swing, blues, and fusion dance communities.

Sierra Norford - Business Manager

  • Sierra (she/her) has worked as the Business Manager for the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub since September 2024. Prior to this, she was a member of the Hub’s board of directors. Outside of her involvement with the Hub, she is a dancer, choreographer, knitter, and former educator.

    Sierra previously taught math at Montpelier High School, where she held many other roles aside from teaching, such as choreographing the musical, running the fiber arts club, and planning Graduation and Project Grad celebrations. She remains involved with MHS as choreographer. She was also formerly a member of the Ballet Vermont Performance Company and performed with them in the Farm to Ballet productions for two summers, along with other productions. She is involved in a variety of types of social/partner dancing in the area, including contra, blues, and fusion dance.

    Sierra attended the University of Vermont where she studied Secondary Education and Environmental Studies. Additionally, she holds an Accounting Certificate from Champlain College. Sierra lives in Montpelier and is excited to be a part of an organization that increases access to the arts in our area!

Teri Page - Rentals Manager & Administrative Assistant

  • With over two decades of experience in the arts, nonprofits, and education, Teri is excited to join the Montpelier Performing Arts Hub team coordinating rentals and educational programming.

    Teri has a Master’s degree in Performing Arts Administration and Nonprofit Management from the University of Oregon, and is equally comfortable behind the scenes and on stage! She has worked as Administrative Director, House Manager, Box Office Manager, Musical Theater Camp Director/Choreographer, and Educator for theater and dance nonprofits in Oregon, Missouri, and Vermont. Locally, she has performed with Lost Nation Theater, Gospel Hollow Players, QuarryWorks Theater, and Ballet Vermont.

    In addition to her work at MPAH, Teri is the Admissions Director at Orchard Valley Waldorf School. Teri is the creator of the popular homesteading blog Homestead Honey and the author of Family Homesteading, and other books. She lives in Calais with her husband and teenage children, and loves gardening, reading, and plunging in the coldest water she can find.
